Jaipur, Rajasthan, India
Amid growing concerns over global geopolitical developments and their potential impact on energy supplies, a senior official from Indian Oil Corporation has reassured that Rajasthan continues to maintain a stable and uninterrupted supply of essential fuels.
Speaking in Jaipur, Manoj Gupta, Executive Director and State Head for Rajasthan, stated that the situation is fully under control and that there is no cause for concern among the public. “There is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG in our state,” he confirmed, addressing apprehensions that may have arisen due to international developments.
Gupta explained that since February 28, when the geopolitical situation began to evolve, authorities have taken proactive steps to ensure supply chain stability. He noted that close coordination has been maintained under the guidance of the state leadership and the Food and Civil Supplies Department, with a strong focus on preparedness and responsiveness.
To manage the situation effectively, regular and structured review meetings are being held at the secretariat level. These meetings involve key stakeholders and officials who continuously monitor supply levels, logistics, and distribution networks across the state.
The official emphasized that such coordinated efforts have enabled Rajasthan to maintain adequate stock levels of petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), ensuring that consumers do not face any disruptions.
The assurance comes at a time when fluctuations in global energy markets often lead to concerns about local availability and pricing. However, the state’s preparedness and efficient coordination mechanisms appear to have mitigated potential risks.
Gupta’s statement underscores the effectiveness of administrative planning and inter-departmental coordination in maintaining essential services, ensuring that daily life and economic activities continue smoothly despite external uncertainties.
