Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

Amid intensifying political exchanges across the country, BJP MLA Balamukund Acharya launched a strong attack on opposition parties, accusing them of spreading misinformation due to electoral setbacks.

Speaking in Jaipur, Acharya targeted parties such as the Congress and All India Trinamool Congress, led by Mamata Banerjee, alleging that their recent statements are driven by political desperation. “Opposition parties like Congress and Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC are spreading misconceptions because they are losing elections,” he said.

He further asserted that the opposition lacks substantial issues to raise against the ruling party. “They have no issues left, so that’s why they spread such misconceptions,” he added, reinforcing the BJP’s narrative that criticism from rivals is politically motivated.

Projecting confidence in the party’s electoral prospects, Acharya claimed that the BJP is set to expand its footprint across multiple regions. “Whether it’s Assam, the South, or West Bengal, the lotus is going to bloom there,” he stated, using the party’s symbol to indicate expected victories.

His remarks come at a time when political rhetoric has intensified ahead of key elections, with both ruling and opposition leaders engaging in sharp exchanges over governance, development, and electoral credibility.

Acharya’s statement reflects the BJP’s assertive campaign stance, positioning itself as confident of electoral success while dismissing opposition criticism as baseless and driven by political compulsion.
