The event witnessed participation from women representing diverse sectors, reflecting a broad engagement with the initiative. During his address, Sharma highlighted that empowering women is not just a policy objective but a foundational pillar for the nation’s inclusive growth and social progress. He stressed that the government remains committed to ensuring that women are given equal opportunities across all fields.

At the programme, detailed information was shared about various schemes and initiatives undertaken by both the Central and State governments aimed at improving the socio-economic status of women. These efforts, he noted, are designed to enhance access to education, financial independence, and leadership opportunities, enabling women to actively contribute to nation-building.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the significance of the Nari Shakti Vandan framework, which has emerged as a major step toward increasing women’s participation in governance. He подчеркнул that such initiatives are instrumental in ensuring that women’s voices are represented in decision-making processes at the highest levels, strengthening democracy and inclusivity.

Calling for greater public involvement, Sharma urged citizens to actively spread awareness about the Act and its benefits. He appealed to people to take responsibility in informing others, particularly at the grassroots level, so that the message of empowerment reaches every section of society. According to him, public participation is key to the successful implementation and acceptance of such transformative measures.

The programme also served as a platform for interaction, where attendees were encouraged to understand their rights and opportunities under various government schemes. The emphasis was on creating awareness as well as building confidence among women to take advantage of available resources.

The event underscored the government’s ongoing efforts to promote gender equality and empower women through both policy and community engagement, reinforcing the vision of a more inclusive and progressive society.
