Jaipur, Rajasthan, India
On the occasion of the 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajasthan Home Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham extended greetings and reflected on the party’s journey, ideology, and organizational strength.
Speaking in Jaipur, Bedham traced the origins of the BJP to the earlier Bharatiya Jana Sangh, stating that the party was founded with a clear vision of promoting nation-first policies and clean politics. He emphasized that the foundational values continue to guide the party’s functioning even today.
Highlighting what he described as a key distinction, Bedham said that unlike several other political parties, the BJP has not remained confined to family-centric leadership. “The BJP stands out for allowing workers from the booth level to rise to high positions like Prime Minister, Chief Minister, and party president,” he noted, underlining the party’s organizational structure and internal growth opportunities.
He also stressed the party’s commitment to the principle of Antyodaya, which focuses on the upliftment of the last person in society. According to him, this approach has played a major role in expanding the party’s reach and connecting it with people at the grassroots level.
Describing the BJP as the world’s largest political party, Bedham credited its growth to the dedication and continuous efforts of its workers across the country. He pointed out that even the current Chief Minister has risen through years of hard work within the party, reinforcing the narrative of merit-based progression.
Looking ahead, Bedham expressed optimism about the party’s future under the leadership of national president Nitin Nabin and Rajasthan state president Madan Rathore. He conveyed hope that the party would continue to strengthen its presence and contribute to the vision of development.
“May we achieve the goals of a developed Rajasthan and a developed India by 2047,” he said, aligning the party’s aspirations with the broader national vision of growth and progress.
The statement reflects the broader tone of BJP leaders across the country on Foundation Day, where emphasis has been placed on organizational strength, grassroots empowerment, and a continued commitment to nation-building.
