‘Nari Shakti – Viksit Bharat Run’ Flagged Off in Jaipur to Promote Women’s Empowerment

JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN — Rajasthan Minister of State for Women and Child Development Manju Baghmar and former MLA Alka Singh Gurjar jointly flagged off the ‘Nari Shakti – Viksit Bharat Run’ in Jaipur, highlighting the growing focus on women’s empowerment and public participation in social initiatives.

The run was organised along a prominent route from Chandpole Bazaar to Badi Chaupar, drawing participation from citizens, youth groups, and supporters of women-centric initiatives. The event aimed to raise awareness about the role of women in nation-building and promote the vision of a developed India through inclusive growth.

Officials said the initiative was designed to encourage community engagement and highlight the importance of women’s participation in all sectors, including governance, economy, and social development. The run also served as a platform to bring together people from different walks of life in support of gender equality and empowerment.
