JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN — Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma attended the 77th Rajasthan Police Day ceremony held at the Police Academy parade ground in Jaipur, where he paid tribute to the service and sacrifice of police personnel across the state.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma reflected on the origins of the Rajasthan Police, noting that it was formed after independence through the unification of police forces from various princely states. He emphasized that over the decades, the force has built a legacy defined by courage, dedication, and commitment to public service.
The Chief Minister paid homage to police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, stating that their sacrifices for the safety and security of citizens remain unforgettable and continue to inspire future generations. He said such contributions form the foundation of the state’s law and order system.
